Jordan Kozachuk became a firefighter to help those in need and to give to his community. And he wanted to give the job everything he could.

So Kozachuk’s best day as a firefighter was the day he became interior qualified.

He could finally go inside a burning structure, meet the fire at its source, rescue anyone who may be trapped inside.

Sure, the training was strenuous, backbreaking, sometimes, but Kozachuk took the advice this seasoned firefighter now metes out to newcomers:

 “Give it 100 percent. Never give up.”
